War erupts, but this time it is the animals who retaliate...

An unsuccessful attempt to weaponize animals triggers their intelligence. In response, the military establishes extermination camps to eliminate the infected creatures. Moon Shadow, an Arctic white wolf, joins forces with White Claw, the king of polar bears, to establish Animus Nor, the inaugural animal republic, in order to negotiate peace. However, this fragile peace is shattered when Azaz, the ruler of grizzly bears, emerges. Azaz launches attacks on human settlements, viewing humans as an invasive species that wreaks havoc on bears and the environment. As a result, a global war ensues, pitting animals against humans and each other, as they vie for supremacy as the ultimate apex species.
